Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal Teams Up with The Shyann Kindness Project

It was just one small act of kindness performed more than four years ago. Yet through the memory of a little girl named Shyann—that single moment of goodwill has spiraled into the hearts of Southern Arizona communities.

So when Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal first learned about The Shyann Kindness Project, we just had to get involved.

Based out of Tucson, Ariz., this non-profit provides fun and needed items to children in stressful situations. Volunteers deliver gift bags filled with hygiene items, school supplies and toys twice a month to children in impoverished neighborhoods, low-income schools and hospitals. The only thing the children have to give in return—is a random act of kindness.

To continue these efforts, The Shyann Kindness Project relies on companies—such as Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal—to donate items for the gift bags. That’s why our company decided to donate our MoistStic Natural Lip Protection lip balm and our hypoallergenic, pure and natural deodorant Spray Mist to this year’s gift bags.

“This is an opportunity for these children to receive personal hygiene items that they don’t normally have money for,” said Glenn Rosati, Shyann’s father and co-founder of The Shyann Kindness Project. “Donations from companies like TCCD help us spend money on other things. Instead of buying lip balm, we’ll now be able to use that money on other items such as books, toys, backpacks and school supplies.”

The Shyann Kindness Project was inspired after the death of Rosati’s daughter, Shyann. Since then, random acts have been performed throughout the United States, as well as England, Iraq and Israel, in her honor.

“We had a raffle at a school where a 10 year old won a free bike and helmet; you could just see him beaming,” Rosati said. “Then, we find out, for his act of kindness, he gave the bike to his little brother. Now, that’s what it’s all about.”
