No, Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystals contain the naturally occurring compound Alum (Potassium or Ammonium), not to be confused with harmful processed aluminum (Aluminum free). Technically speaking, aluminum is a metal while Alum is a compound.  Many of these processed aluminum molecules can be absorbed into the skin and bloodstream. Alum molecules create a barrier against odor causing bacteria and contain a large molecule which does not penetrate the surface of the skin.

No. Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystals are a deodorant, NOT an antiperspirant.  Antiperspirants inhibit the activity of the sweat glands and close the skin's pores to produce less moisture, and also do not permit toxins to be released.  Our Deodorant Crystal products contain natural mineral salts to prevent odor causing bacteria and function as an astringent to reduce perspiration.  Click here to learn more about the difference between deodorants and antiperspirants.

Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystals are Propylene Glycol free, Paraben free and prevent bacteria from forming. Our products are far more effective then the "other" natural deodorants.

It is personal preference, but if you are highly sensitive or allergic, we would recommend using the fragrance free Spray Mist because of its extremely gentle, yet amazingly effective formula. It is highly recommended by oncologists, dermatologists and allergists.  Our best selling product is the fragrance free Roll-On, and is considered the overall favorite.  However, many people choose the solid crystals for their effectiveness and strength towards odor prevention.

One application should prevent body odor throughout the day.  The more active you are the more likely you may need to re-apply to be naturally fresh.

Everyone’s body is different and many factors go into body odor such as diet and exercise. For some people, different crystal formats (solid crystals, roll-ons, or sprays) may work immediately and for others they may take several days for your body to adjust to using an all natural product.

The solid crystals will last up to one-year once it is opened and used. It never expires if unopened. The roll-ons and spray mists have a two-year shelf life and once opened are good up to one year.

With the solid crystal (not necessary with our roll-on and spray mist) wet the crystal by running under water and apply it generously to the areas you wish to deodorize, ensuring the entire area is covered. After application; rinse off the crystal and dry off completely. The salt deposits stay on your skin and stop bacteria in its tracks while reducing moisture on the area applied. Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystals do not cover up or obstruct your pores. They allow your body to function naturally while actually inhibiting bacteria growth because bacteria cannot live in the salt environment
